About Us

Welcome to the squash section of our website. The club was founded as a Tennis Club in North London in 1881 and then, in the 1960’s, two squash courts were built, later increased to four as the squash boom took off. Having been established for over 125 years, Finchley Manor is able to combine traditional standards with modernity to provide excellent playing facilities in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a squash and racketball community which encourages all members to enjoy the game, play to the best of their ability in a friendly and social environment.

Our Facilities

We have the following:

  • 4 squash courts, one of which is a glass backed show court
  • Show court with a seating capacity of 55-60 people
  • Men’s and women’s changing rooms
  • Saunas in both men’s and women’s changing rooms
  • Disabled toilet
  • Free car parking for members and guests
The club has internal squash and racketball leagues and runs 3 squash teams (2 mens & 1 ladies) in the Middlesex Squash League. Squash and racketball tournaments are held regularly at the club and squash exhibition events once a year.
