Squash Membership at Finchley Manor

The club is open seven days a week, with play possible between 08:30 and 22:30 every day except weekends when last bookings are at 21:00.

We have four courts, one of them (Court 1) is glass backed. Three are booked on a 45 minute basis (except for the first of the day, which are only 30 minutes), while number 4 has hourly bookings throughout the day.

As far as cost of booking is concerned, a peak-time 45 minute booking (6:45 pm - 9:00 pm Monday to Thursday) costs £4.50: this reduces to £4.00 for half-peak (the times immediately adjacent to peak-time) and only £3.00 for all off-peak 45 minute bookings. Court 4 bookings (1 hour) have proportionally higher costs. All these prices are total per booking, to be shared between two players.

The (optional) ladder leagues usually involve a member in 4 or 5 matches per 5/6 week period. They cover a wide ability range and give members the chance to encounter many different playing styles. Participants may win a prize by finishing their matches first (regardless of the outcome)

Guests may play (the booking member pays a £2.00 guest fee), but the same guest should not play more than 3 times a year - after that, we think that they should also be members.

Bookings are made using our on-line system in which each member establishes a credit account and draws on it at the time of booking.. The member’s balance is displayed whenever he/she logs in and after making a booking.
